Vintage is a strategy board game for 2–4 players, with a playing time of about 120 minutes, set in Portugal’s Douro River Valley, the world’s oldest demarcated wine-producing region and a World Heritage site.

Each player seeks to build the finest port wine by buying wine-growing estates and planting them with the best grape varieties. The aim is to produce the highest-quality port wine—a true VINTAGE.

The game offers two ways to play, making it accessible to different groups. The simple version is designed for players who are less familiar with family strategy games. It provides fewer options, a higher degree of luck, a faster playing time, and rules that are easy to learn.

For a deeper experience, the normal version presents Vintage in its fullness. It includes many more strategic options, while luck plays a smaller role. The result is a longer and more challenging game, with only slightly more complex rules.
