Warhammer Armies

About this expansion

Warhammer Armies is a two-player, 360-minute army-list book for the 3rd edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battle, released in 1988. This 178-page hardcover volume provides the official army lists used to organize forces for fantasy battles.

The book covers a broad selection of races, bringing together the major forces of the setting in one reference. Its contents include the Dark Elves, Wood Elves, High Elves, Empire, Bretonnia, Chaos, Skaven, Orcs, Dwarves, Slann, and Undead.

Alongside these 11 race-based army lists, Warhammer Armies also contains 21 mercenary and ally contingent force lists. These additional lists expand the range of forces represented in the book and provide further army-list options for players building their battle forces.

• 178-page hardcover format

Designed as a substantial reference for two players, the book supports sessions listed at approximately six hours. Its focus is firmly on army lists rather than a standalone overview, making it a dedicated source for the forces available in this edition.
