About this board game

Warp & Weft is a pattern-building board game for 2–5 players, played in about 35 minutes. Across four rounds, you will draft colored threads, weave them onto your Loom, and create an attractive design.

Each round begins with a simultaneous draft. You collect four threads that you will use to develop your design, choosing colors that can help shape the patterns on your Loom board.

After drafting, you weave the threads onto your Loom. You then commit to a specific pattern, earning victory points based on how many times that pattern appears on your completed work. The challenge is to turn your available threads into a design that produces the strongest score.

Inspired by the cultural importance of weaving, Warp & Weft connects colorful threads and folkloric patterns with a focused competitive puzzle. The colors, embroideries, and patterns of hand-woven garments have held meanings across cultures, giving the game a distinctive thematic foundation.

As the rounds progress, each drafting decision and placement contributes to your Loom. At the end of the game, the player with the most victory points wins.
