About this board game

What Next? is a cooperative pick-your-path adventure game for 1–4 players, played in around 60 minutes. Together, players navigate a branching adventure, overcome unexpected obstacles, and try to reach the end before the Tower of Peril collapses.

Each turn, players reveal the next location card and read its story aloud. The group then decides which path to take, shaping the journey as they encounter strange and unpredictable situations, from gigantic koalas and rampaging robots to an old lady with a rocket launcher.

What Next? combines storytelling and decision-making with more than 60 dexterity challenges. When an event appears, the player reading the card must attempt the associated challenge, making every choice potentially lead to a test of skill.

To grab a vine and swing through the trees, you may need to throw a card into the air and catch it. Choosing an old rope bridge could require flicking a wooden puck across the table without letting it fall off. Success depends on mastering the mini-games encountered along the way.

The adventure ends in one of two ways: the players win by reaching the end, or everyone loses if the Tower of Peril topples first. With its unpredictable story, shared decisions, and hands-on challenges, What Next? turns every route into a new test of teamwork and dexterity.
