About this board game

Lift it! is a family building game for 1-8 players, with play taking around 30 minutes. Players use a crane hook to lift differently shaped building blocks and recreate the structures shown on building cards.

Each building card presents a project to complete within a displayed time limit. Players score a point for every correctly placed block, with additional points available when the entire structure is built correctly before time runs out.

The physical challenge is central to Lift it!, as players must guide the blocks with the hook rather than simply placing them by hand. This makes every project a test of coordination, accuracy, and speed.

As players gain points, the game introduces several ways to change how a structure is built. These challenges can include:

• Competing against another player in a building duel
• Explaining a building project while another player constructs it from the description
• Attaching the hook to your head and building the structure that way

These variations add fresh obstacles to the core building task while keeping the focus on the cards, the blocks, and the ticking time limit. Players may need to communicate clearly, compete directly, or adapt their physical approach to complete the project.
