About this board game

Doctor Panic is a cooperative medical challenge for 2–9 players that plays in about 12 minutes. You are a surgical team at the area’s most prestigious hospital, working together to save a patient who has just arrived on a stretcher.

Before the game begins, a series of medical treatments is prepared. Your team must complete every treatment before the final heart attack on the soundtrack. Succeed in time and you are victorious; fail, and the team must receive additional training.

One or more players act as overseers, serving as emergency room managers who assign tasks to the other medical personnel. This creates a shared challenge in which players must listen, coordinate, and carry out the required procedures under pressure.

• Find a combination of drugs in a batch of cards.
• Consult a chart to determine the dose to administer.
• Stitch up a wound by using a needle and thread on a game board.

Each treatment gives the team a different medical task to perform, keeping the group focused on the patient and the clock. The soundtrack provides the approaching deadline, while the overseers direct the work needed to complete the prepared procedures.

Released in 2016, Doctor Panic turns teamwork, communication, and a sequence of unusual hands-on challenges into a compact emergency-room scenario. Gather your surgical team, follow the instructions, and try to finish all treatments before the final heartbeat.
