Sushi Dice

About this board game

Sushi Dice is a quick-playing head-to-head dice game for 2–6 players that takes about 20 minutes. Players race to complete sushi dishes by rolling six dice, with each die face representing food used in sushi composition.

At the start of each turn, three dish cards are revealed in the center of the table. Two players then roll their six dice simultaneously and continually, trying to match one of the available dishes before their opponent does.

You may set aside dice you want to keep while you work toward a dish. However, every roll demands attention: if a player notices that an opponent has rolled a Yuck symbol before it can be rerolled, they can yell “Yuck!” and force that opponent to reroll any dice they have set aside.

• Reveal three dish cards for each turn.
• Roll six dice simultaneously in a race against another player.
• Use “Yuck!” and “Chop!” calls to disrupt or end the action.

Non-active players also have a way to intervene. If someone notices that both competing players have a Yuck symbol at the same time, they can yell “Chop!” This immediately ends the turn, and the dice pass to the next players.

Whoever completes a dish first keeps its card. In Sushi Dice, the winner is the first player to collect 4–6 cards, with the required total depending on the number of players. Its simultaneous rolling, quick reactions, and simple race for cards create a lively contest from start to finish.
