The String Railway Collection is a 2025 board game for 2–5 players, with a listed play time of 45 minutes, combining two standalone railway games in one small-box package.

In the original String Railway, players create a map directly on the table using string to form borders, mountains, and rivers. They then build a railway network across this changing landscape, with every game taking shape through the map they create.

The collection also includes String Railway: Cubed, formerly known as String Railway: Transport. This sequel begins with a map of stations already built and adds weightier decisions inspired by games such as Railways of the World.

It offers two distinct takes on string-based railways: one focused on making a map and building upon it, and another centered on network planning, upgrades, contracts, and transportation.
