About this board game

Maki Stack is a 15-minute sushi-stacking dexterity game for 2–6 players, challenging solo chefs and culinary teams to build an arrangement exactly as shown on an order card.

Balance and arrange the sushi, plates, and soy sauce bottles with care. The goal is to execute the order precisely, but every move carries the risk of sending the entire construction tumbling over.

Use your fingers as chopsticks while stacking the pieces. Speed matters, so the fastest solo chef or team to master the sushi tower wins the game.

  • Precision stacking: Arrange sushi, plates, and soy sauce bottles to match the order card.
  • Team mode: Teammates work together with each person limited to one hand and one finger.
  • Blindfold mode: Guide a teammate as they try to build the sushi tower without seeing it.

Maki Stack supports play for two, four, or six players, making it suited to both head-to-head challenges and larger team showdowns. Its different modes change how players communicate and handle the delicate stack while keeping the central task focused on balance and accuracy.

Released in 2018, Maki Stack turns a sushi order into a tense test of coordination. Whether you compete as a solo chef, share the controls with a teammate, or attempt a blindfolded build, one wrong move can change the result.
