About this board game
Kitty Paw is a 2015 dexterity and reaction game for 1–4 players, with a playing time of about 30 minutes. Players race simultaneously to complete kitty combinations shown on their cards and score victory points.
Each round, every player takes one Kitty card from the row and places it in front of them. The card shows a pattern that must be recreated using Kitty tiles from the center of the table. Players must recognize their own pattern, react quickly, and arrange the tiles to match it before anyone else finishes.
The game begins with all players placing one hand in the center of the table and shouting “Kitty Paw!” Players then use only that hand—their “Kitty Paw”—to collect tiles. They may grab only one Kitty tile at a time rather than taking several at once, adding a dexterity challenge to the race.
- Simultaneous play keeps everyone active at the same time.
- Kitty cards provide the patterns players must recreate.
- One-handed tile grabbing tests dexterity and coordination.
- Completed combinations earn victory points.
When a player believes their pattern is complete, they shout “Meow!” and perform the “Lucky Cat” gesture. The player with the most victory points at the end wins. With its combination of recognition, reaction, and tactile tile arranging, Kitty Paw turns a table full of cardboard boxes and cats into a lively game of kitty hide-and-seek.
