About this board game

BUILDZI is a speed-stacking game for 2–4 players that takes about 3 minutes to play, using 3D pentominoes, also known as polycubes.

The game offers different ways to race. In one mode, players compete to build the structure shown on a single large card. The goal is a direct test of speed and spatial construction as players work with the available pieces.

Another mode uses a personal set of eight small cards. Players flip these cards one by one, then race to finish stacking each piece shown. This format turns the challenge into a quick sequence of reveals and constructions.

• Large-card mode: race to build the structure displayed on one large card.
• Eight-card mode: flip eight small cards one at a time and stack each shown piece.
• Card distribution options: use sets with one of each shape or shuffle all 32 cards and distribute them randomly.

These card options allow the small-card challenge to be set up with a consistent selection of shapes or with a more random distribution. The result is a compact game centered on quick recognition, stacking, and 3D building.

Several variant play modes are included, giving BUILDZI more than one way to approach its speed-stacking challenges. Whether players are following a single structure or progressing through a sequence of small cards, each mode keeps the focus on building with the distinctive 3D pieces.
