About this board game
Skirmish Wars: Advance Tactics is a light-to-medium-weight wargame for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 60 minutes. Inspired by Nintendo’s turn-based strategy game Advance Wars, it brings unit building, city capture, and opposing headquarters into a print-and-play format.
The main objective is to capture the enemy HQ or eliminate all opposing threats. Many scenarios begin with players controlling no units and only a handful of money, creating a focused starting point for developing an army. As cities are captured, they provide the opportunity to raise new capital and build larger forces.
A modular game board system provides variety across scenarios and supports an extensive range of battlefield layouts. The format is designed for endless variety while keeping the core experience centered on growing an army and challenging the opponent’s position.
