About this board game

MonstroCity is a cooperative action game for 1 to 4 players, with sessions lasting 20 to 30 minutes. Take control of a monster and join forces to destroy Dr. Spotnik’s secret base before his plans to conquer the world succeed.

Each monster has unique abilities, creating an asymmetric game in which every player supports the squad in a different way. Your team must move through the city, demolishing buildings while facing turrets and Dr. Spotnik’s obstacles, including tanks, helicopters, and road blocks.

The game unfolds across five rounds, each lasting two minutes. During every round, all players simultaneously roll four dice and resolve them quickly, activating their monster’s abilities as they race to accomplish the squad’s objectives.

Your progress is measured in Victory Stars. The goal is to gather all three for a complete and total victory, making every round a frantic test of coordination, speed, and decision-making.

MonstroCity also offers alternative ways to play. Turn-Based Mode transforms the experience into a more challenging puzzle game, while Competition Mode allows players to divide into teams and compete against each other.
