Star Wars: Epic Duels is a 2–6 player board game with approximately 30 minutes of play time, featuring individual battles between famous Star Wars characters.

Players choose a major character accompanied by one or two minor characters. Each character group has its own unique deck of action cards, used for attacks, defense, and special abilities. The cards include powers relevant to the major character, giving each group its own set of options during a battle.

Fights take place across four different battlefields from the Star Wars universe: the Geonosis Arena, Emperor’s Throne Room, Carbon-Freezing Chamber, and Kamino Platform. Character and minor-character life trackers are represented on character cards, while wound markers help record damage during play.

Star Wars: Epic Duels supports several ways to play. Two players can face one another in a one-on-one battle, up to three teams can compete against each other, or as many as six players can take part in a free-for-all battle. A movement die is included for maneuvering across the battlefields.
