Star Wars: Outer Rim is a game for 1–4 players that takes about 180 minutes, casting you as a bounty hunter, mercenary, smuggler, or another underworld denizen seeking fame among the stars.

Travel the Outer Rim in your personal ship and build a reputation through dangerous opportunities. Take jobs, track down bounties, deliver illegal cargo, and upgrade your vessel as you work toward becoming a living legend—or the galaxy’s most infamous outlaw.

Every player begins with a simple starship, but the path to success can develop in many different ways. You may hire legendary Star Wars characters to join your crew, pursue your character’s personal goal, or take advantage of the finer things in life by spending hard-earned credits on luxury items.

Your ultimate objective is to gain ten fame. Fame can come from a range of accomplishments, so each scoundrel must decide which opportunities are worth the danger and how best to make a mark in the galaxy.

The galaxy is not a safe place for ambitious outlaws. Warring factions patrol the region and hunt those who have become a thorn in their side, while rival scoundrels may see you as an opportunity to increase their own reputation. Your player board tracks fame while holding your ship, character, gear, reputation, modifications, jobs, and bounties.

With its open-ended routes to fame and its focus on dangerous jobs, shifting loyalties, and personal ambition, Star Wars: Outer Rim lets every player create a different story of survival and notoriety.
