Spartacus: The Serpents and the Wolf Expansion Set is an expansion for 3–6 players that adds new intrigue, combat options, Gladiators, and team-based arena battles to a 180-minute game of blood and treachery.

Two new Houses dramatically reshape the game’s Intrigues. The respected praetor Varinius imposes his will on the noble Houses, while the arrogant noble Seppius twists other players’ plots toward his own nefarious ends. New Schemes and frantic Reactions create further opportunities for treacherous assaults and desperate alliances.

Houses can bid for new Slaves, bringing skills and talents that add to their Dominus’s fortunes. Combatants also gain access to new brutal fighting techniques, weapons, and armor, while powerful new Gladiators join the champions of Capua in pursuit of glory and Influence.

• Two new Houses: Play as Varinius or Seppius, each bringing a distinctive influence to the Intrigue phase.
• New intrigue and combat content: Discover additional Schemes, Reactions, Slaves, equipment, and Gladiators.
• The Primus: Match two Gladiators against another team of two in a grand spectacle of blood and strategy.

In the Primus, bitter rivals may be forced to fight side by side while seeking favor and reward. Most Gladiators battle with honor and purpose, but treacherous fighters may turn on their own teammates when the opportunity arises.

Released in 2013, Spartacus: The Serpents and the Wolf brings more bloodshed, shifting alliances, and betrayal to the world of the STARZ Original Series.
