Isle of Skye: Druids

About this expansion

Isle of Skye: Druids is an expansion for 2–5 players that adds a second buying session, mystical druid tiles, and new scoring possibilities to the Isle of Skye experience. A game takes approximately 75 minutes.

Power on the island is not measured by strength and gold alone. To strengthen your position, seek the support of the spiritual leaders of the country and win the druids over to your cause.

This second expansion can be played with the base game on its own, or together with the base game and the Journeyman expansion. It changes phase 4, the buying phase, by dividing it into two separate buying sessions.

• In the first buying session, purchase a tile from one of your fellow players as usual.
• In the second buying session, purchase a tile from the dolmen board.
• Druid tiles are normal landscape tiles that often feature a stone tablet or a scroll.
• New scoring tiles add further variability to the game.

Stone tablets grant special powers that remain available until the end of the game, while scrolls follow the usual rules of the base game. These additions give your tile purchases another purpose as you build your position and pursue the support of the druids.

With its extra buying opportunity, dolmen board, lasting stone-tablet powers, and new scoring tiles, Isle of Skye: Druids offers another way to develop your island and compete for dominance.
