About this expansion

Hansa Teutonica: Britannia is an expansion for 2–5 players with a playing time of 90 minutes, adding a new map of Britannia to Hansa Teutonica.

This expansion also includes revised two-player rules, making it suitable for games with two participants as well as larger groups. Released in 2014, it offers a distinct map setting while remaining an expansion for the original game.

A key feature of the Britannia map is the special permission found in Carlisle, Cardiff, and London. These locations affect how actions may be carried out in Wales and Scotland.

• The permission allows you to perform one of your normal placement actions in Wales and Scotland.
• It also allows you to perform one of your normal displacement actions in Wales and Scotland.
• The permission does not provide an extra action.

These rules make the permissions in Carlisle, Cardiff, and London an important part of playing on the Britannia map. Their effect is clearly defined: they expand where one normal placement or displacement action may be performed without increasing the number of actions available.
