About this expansion

Nemesis: Aftermath & Void Seeders & Medic is an expansion for Nemesis for 1–5 players, with games lasting around 180 minutes. Released in 2019, it combines the Aftermath expansion, the Void Seeders expansion, and the Medic, collected from the Kickstarter campaign’s stretch goals.

The Void Seeders introduce a different kind of threat from the base game. Rather than relying on a single nest, this race uses several nests across the ship while only one strong fighting presence is active at a time. As nests are discovered, they can awaken new creatures and make movement increasingly dangerous.

These enemies focus on insanity, whispers, and mental control. Voidlurkers spread insanity and attempt to drive crew members toward nests, while Whisperers defend the main nest and bring a greater degree of physical danger. The Stalker acts as a powerful guardian, taking advantage of frightened or increasingly unstable crew members.

  • Multiple nests: Smaller nests can appear through Exploration tokens, and ending a turn on one causes a serious wound.
  • Whispers mechanic: Movement can require a roll for whispers, potentially triggering cards from the Insanity deck.
  • Escalating threat: Insanity tokens and nearby Voidlurkers or Whisperers can cause further psychological deterioration.
  • Despoiler: An extremely strong opponent that emerges when all required Insanity tokens are on the players.

Contamination cards are tied to gaining insanity and are easier to discard, but their consequences may still decide a character’s fate at the end of the game. With strange voices, shifting loyalties, and dangerous decisions about where to move, Nemesis: Aftermath & Void Seeders & Medic adds a disturbing layer of uncertainty to survival aboard the ship.
