Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island – “King Kong” Scenario is a promotional scenario for 1–4 players, with an approximately 120-minute play time. Released by Pegasus Spiele in 2013, it brings a humorous Hollywood film-making premise to the world of Robinson Crusoe.

Known as The Deadly Adventure on King Kong Island in the Book of Adventures, this standalone scenario places the players on a forgotten island with a group of Hollywood film makers. Their goal is to create a movie about a giant ape, but the production quickly becomes far more dangerous than expected.

Rather than simply filming the monster, the expedition must deal with the immediate threats of the island. The scenario challenges players to:

• Protect the film crew.
• Trap the giant ape.
• Make it back to safety alive.

The result is a thematically fitting addition to Robinson Crusoe that combines the adventure of a hazardous island expedition with a playful cinematic twist. “Lights, camera, action!” takes on a very literal meaning as the crew attempts to complete its film and survive the deadly adventure.

This promo contains one new scenario presented on a one-page printed rule sheet; the reverse side features an advertisement for the base game.
