Dark Souls: The Board Game – Characters Expansion is a character-focused expansion for 1–4 players, with a play time of 90 minutes. Released in 2019, it adds six new classes and a collection of armored character models to the game.

The expansion introduces the Pyromancer, Cleric, Thief, Sorcerer, Mercenary, and Deprived classes. Each new class is represented by a miniature and a player board, giving players additional character options to use in their Dark Souls games.

• 6 miniatures for the new classes
• 6 player boards for the Pyromancer, Cleric, Thief, Sorcerer, Mercenary, and Deprived
• 10 armored character models
• Cards corresponding to the armored character models

The 10 armored character models provide an alternative appearance for player characters. When a player discovers and equips the corresponding cards included in the box, the relevant armored model can replace the basic player miniature.

This creates a direct visual connection between the cards a player discovers and the miniature represented on the table. The result is a set that expands both the available classes and the character models used during play.
