Thunderstone Quest: Total Eclipse of the Sun is Quest #2 for 2–4 players, with each game taking about 90 minutes. This Kickstarter-exclusive Quest combines dungeon tiles, monster cards, Village and Dungeon cards, and an engaging storyline into a series of varied Adventures.

Each Quest provides rules for selecting Village and Dungeon cards, allowing players to create different setups as they explore its scenarios. Once you have mastered the Quest, random setups of Quest cards let you create new Dungeons and Villages, offering a way to build your own Quests and Adventures.

Total Eclipse of the Sun includes a substantial collection of components to support its different setups:

• 6 dungeon tiles
• 25 dividers and randomizers
• 246 cards, including heroes, monsters, support items, and treasure
• Three versions of the Guardian, each with a slightly different difficulty

The three Guardian versions provide a scaling challenge, so different Adventures within the Quest can offer distinct levels of difficulty. This makes the contents suitable for exploring the Quest’s storyline while also experimenting with alternative combinations of cards and locations.

With six heroes, six monsters, twelve support items, treasure, and multiple Guardian options, Thunderstone Quest: Total Eclipse of the Sun gives players a structured Quest to learn and master, followed by the freedom to create fresh Dungeons and Villages from its random setups.
