Stone Age: Casino

About this expansion

Stone Age: Casino is an expansion for Stone Age for 2–5 players, with a playing time of about 60 minutes. Released in 2013, it adds two new huts that bring a luck-based way to gain victory points to the game.

The two new huts are casinos, and they are mixed with the other huts during setup. As a result, two hut stacks are each one hut higher. To purchase a casino, a player pays the two raw materials shown on the hut.

After building a casino, the player rolls dice and immediately receives victory points equal to the total rolled. The number of dice depends on the casino: one allows a roll of four dice, while the other allows a roll of five dice.

This expansion creates a distinct choice within Stone Age: Casino. Players must pay the depicted raw materials first, then rely on the result of their dice to determine the immediate reward. The casino rules are simple, while the two different hut types provide two dice-based opportunities.

Stone Age: Casino was specially printed for “Stadt-Land-Spielt,” the German parlour games day, in 2013. It was also included with the Russian Railroads: Mini-Expansion in 2014. The expansion is only playable with Stone Age.
