Ahoy: Rivals & Renegades is an expansion for Ahoy for 2–4 players, with a play time of 75 minutes. Released in 2025, it adds two new factions and expands the ways players can set sail across the game’s seas.

The expansion introduces the Blackfish Brigade and the Shellfire Rebellion. These factions can be used in place of the Bluefin Squadron and Mollusk Union in the core game, giving players new choices when assembling an Ahoy game.

• Blackfish Brigade: Fierce orcas who menace the seas with their roving whale pod.
• Shellfire Rebellion: Tenacious turtles who use catapults to launch comrades far and wide.

Rivals & Renegades also supports a two-versus-two team mode. Add all four factions together and play with two teams, bringing the Blackfish Brigade and Shellfire Rebellion into the same game as the Bluefin Squadron and Mollusk Union.
