The 7th Citadel: The Unveilers is a 2024 adventure game for 1–4 players with an approximately 1,000-minute play time, centered on mysterious magic-seeking ladybugs and the discoveries they lead you toward.

Commonly called Unveilers, these fist-sized creatures are reputedly harmless and well known among arcanists, treasure seekers, and other intrepid adventurers. They are drawn to magical emanations, so spotting a cloud of them is generally considered a good omen—although magical things are not always safe to uncover.

During your journey, an Exploration card or random event can bring you across the Unveilers. When this happens, place one of their miniatures on the Terrain card put into play after the encounter. The miniature remains there until you interact with the ladybugs or dig to discover what magical thing attracted them to the area.

Once you choose to dig, remove the miniature and find out whether your decision was wise—or unfortunate. The hidden discovery might be one of several very different possibilities:

• A powerful artifact
• An arcane skeleton
• A cursed object
• A magical creature to fight or coax

The Unveilers turn an apparently promising sighting into a moment of uncertainty. Do you investigate the ladybugs themselves, or uncover the magic buried nearby? In The 7th Citadel: The Unveilers, the only way to learn what has attracted these enigmatic creatures is to dig and discover what awaits beneath the surface.
