Shadows of Brimstone: Temple of Shadows Deluxe Expansion is a board game expansion for 1–4 players, with an approximate play time of 180 minutes. It adds substantial new content to the Feudal Japan setting and the Belly of the Beast OtherWorld.

The Temple of Shadows was once home to an order of Yamabushi monks dedicated to battling supernatural creatures. When the Great Dragon King, Sho-Riu, descended from the heavens and destroyed the order, the surviving monks scattered in search of new Heroes capable of fulfilling the prophecy and reclaiming the temple.

Four new Hero Classes bring distinct themes and abilities to the adventure. The Enforcer is a scarred outlaw who relies on brute strength, while the Geisha uses deception, stealth, hidden blades, and a comforting presence to support the Heroes. The Soldier is a veteran marksman with access to rifles, weapons, and military training, and the Kitsune uses supernatural tricks, protective auras, and deadly blades.

• Four new Enemy Types: Chochinobake, Takobake Warriors, Skin Crawlers, and the powerful Fallen Shogun.
• Four double-sided Map Tiles provide new rooms for the Forbidden Fortress and the Belly of the Beast.
• Six new Missions explore the Temple of Shadows.
• Loads of new cards, counters, and additional material expand the setting.

From swarming demon-possessed lanterns to mutated warriors empowered by Dark Stone, the new enemies add dangerous threats across both worlds. The Fallen Shogun stands as a towering leader of the Takobake clan, armed with Dark Stone-forged equipment and commanding legions of mutated soldiers.

With its blend of Feudal Japan mythology, supernatural heroes, new locations, and the horrors of the Belly of the Beast, Temple of Shadows Deluxe Expansion offers a broad collection of new content for Shadows of Brimstone adventures.
