About this expansion

Android: Netrunner – Blood Money is a two-player Data Pack for Android: Netrunner, with a play time of approximately 45 minutes.

The second Data Pack in the Flashpoint Cycle, Blood Money continues the story of a New Angeles transformed by the Twenty-Three Seconds incident. For twenty-three seconds, Runners tore through Titan Transnational Bank, causing trillions of credits to be lost, stolen, or erased. The aftermath brings a massive collapse of the New Angeles financial system, corporate blame, and new opportunities in the resulting chaos.

This pack contains 60 new cards: three copies each of twenty different cards. Its themes focus on using wealth to build wealth, bringing financial opportunity to the forefront of the ongoing Android: Netrunner narrative.

  • Cards centered on wealth and financial opportunity
  • A pair of powerful Corporate Trace cards playable even when the Runner did not just make a run
  • Prisec operatives, bounty hunters, news reporters, and rumor mongers

Blood Money also follows the people caught in the aftermath, including Georgia Emelyov, a former Titan Transnational employee who moved to Jinteki just before the damage was done. As corporations turn on one another and financial certainty disappears, every side has reasons to exploit the situation.

With its mix of money-focused cards, unusual trace opportunities, and characters taking advantage of New Angeles’s upheaval, Android: Netrunner – Blood Money deepens the Flashpoint Cycle’s story and adds another chapter to the consequences of the Twenty-Three Seconds incident.
