About this expansion

City of the Great Machine: The Escalation is a 2023 expansion for 1–4 players with a play time of 90 minutes, intensifying the conflict between the Resistance and the Great Machine.

The struggle reaches a new level as new Heroes with unique abilities join the side of the Revolution. Meanwhile, the Great Machine strengthens its Servants with powerful implants and sends a secretly trained new Servant into the field.

A governmental Surveillance Zeppelin now cruises over the City, opening up new opportunities for both sides of the conflict. Its presence adds another notable element to the evolving confrontation between the Resistance and the Great Machine.

The Escalation expansion contains four separate Modules. Each one can be added to games in different combinations, allowing players to tailor how they expand the core experience.

• A challenging Aeterna scenario for Solo & Cooperative play.

Because the Modules work together as well as with the core game, City of the Great Machine: The Escalation offers multiple ways to deepen the struggle. Add any combination for One-vs-Many sessions, or use them in Solo and Cooperative games alongside the dedicated Aeterna scenario.
