Diadochoi: Great Battles of Alexander Module is a two-player historical battle game with an approximate playing time of 240 minutes, covering four major battles from the early Diadochoi wars at the end of the 4th century BC.

After Alexander the Great’s death, his marshals—the diadochoi, or “successors”—jostled and fought for position and control of his vast empire. These commanders sought to expand and improve the Macedonian system of warfare that Alexander had used so effectively.

The module focuses on this period of conflict and the evolution of the armies that fought in it. The successors ultimately formalized the elements of Macedonian warfare, while adding large numbers of elephants to their forces.
