Maximum Apocalypse: Bugpocalypse is a 1–6 player game with a 90-minute play time, introducing a 40-card deck of giant bugs and a dangerous new monster threat.

These insects tend to swarm. Whenever a new monster spawns, there is a chance that another monster must be drawn, allowing the bug threat to grow rapidly and putting additional pressure on the game.

Not every insect is equally dangerous. Most of the bugs are described as pretty squishy, giving the deck plenty of smaller creatures alongside larger enemies that demand more attention.
