Shadows of Brimstone: Outlaw Hero Class is a Kickstarter-exclusive hero class for 1–4 players, with a listed play time of 60 minutes. Released in 2014, it adds an Outlaw character option for players who pledged at the Outlaw level or higher.

Playing an Outlaw means embracing versatility and risk. This wild-card hero can lay down substantial fire and move quickly through the shadows, making mobility and aggressive action central to the experience. The trade-off is clear: Outlaws are not especially accurate with a gun and do not gain much health over time.

The class also introduces a distinctive town opportunity: the ability to rob the Outpost Bank. A successful robbery can provide a major influx of cash, giving you more resources to purchase useful gear and pay bribes that help keep you out of jail. It is a standout feature that gives the Outlaw a particularly memorable identity.
