Museum: The World’s Fair

About this expansion

Museum: The World’s Fair is an expansion for Museum for 2–4 players, with a playing time of approximately 60 minutes. Released in 2018, it introduces two new mechanisms alongside additional content for the game.

The first new mechanism is the Pavilion. Pavilions introduce new shared objectives, adding a communal goal element to the Museum experience. These objectives provide a new way for players to engage with the game’s shared framework.

The second new mechanism is Loans. A Loan allows you to send an item to another player’s museum, creating a benefit for both players. This mechanism is not available in a two-player game, so it applies when playing with three or four players.

Beyond its new mechanisms, Museum: The World’s Fair expands the available components with three tower boards. It also includes additional events, personnel, and character cards, giving the expansion a range of new material to add to Museum.
