About this expansion

Runebound: Battlemage Character Deck is an expansion for Runebound: Second Edition for 2–6 players, with a play time of approximately 120 minutes. Released in 2006, it introduces new mechanics and rules for character advancement and interaction.

The deck lets you add the abilities of a Battlemage to any character you choose for Runebound: Second Edition. This expands that character’s powers and abilities while adding a new way to develop and customize your hero.

You can also combine the Battlemage Character Deck with any of the five other character decks available for the game. Mixing decks allows you to create your own completely unique hero from the available character options.

The expansion includes a focused set of cards and assorted tokens:

• 5 Talent cards
• 25 Class cards
• Assorted tokens

Designed for players who want additional character options, this deck broadens the advancement and interaction systems of Runebound: Second Edition without standing alone as a separate game. Its Battlemage content can be added to a chosen character or combined with other character decks for further customization.
