Conan: Kushite Witch Hunters

About this expansion

Conan: Kushite Witch Hunters is a Conan expansion for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Released in 2016, it gives the Overlord four distinctive Kushite miniatures and matching unit tiles to challenge the heroes with sorcery, precision attacks, and brutal defense.

At the heart of the expansion is Shubba, a powerful sorcerer who can cast any spells given to him. His concentration ability ensures that the heroes cannot hinder his spellcasting, allowing him to maintain the pressure while his allies close in.

Shubba is protected by the skilled warriors Shafiah and Ghayoor. Their attacks roll two orange dice, and their precision strike ability effectively ignores the first point of a hero’s armor. Both warriors are also willing to sacrifice themselves to defend their sorcerous master.

Afari the warlord is the expansion’s deadliest melee warrior. Alongside solid defense and a powerful attack, he can counterattack whenever he faces one of the heroes’ melee attacks. His retaliation uses a single red die but still benefits from precision strike, and he can make this counterattack multiple times in a turn if the heroes repeatedly test his skills.
