About this expansion

Crucible of Steel is a 2011 scenario pack for 1–2 players, with an estimated play time of 240 minutes, focused solely on the southern shoulder of Operation Citadel.

Set around Kursk, the pack is built around 32 scenarios offering a wide variety of actions. The collection includes mid-sized and larger scenarios alongside numerous tournament-sized scenarios, giving players a broad selection of engagements to explore.

The scenarios are supported by new and updated game components. Three new double-wide map boards and three new standard map boards expand the available battlefield layouts, while new countersheets provide additional support for Kursk.
