Poland in Flames

About this expansion

Poland in Flames is a two-player scenario pack covering the invasion of Poland that began World War II in Europe. Released in 2016, it includes 45 scenarios, primarily pitting German forces against Polish forces, with additional Russian-versus-Polish and Slovak-versus-Polish engagements.

The scenarios range across a broad selection of battles and situations, from The Winter City and The Tanks of Warsaw to The Road to Warsaw, Forest of Death, and Kock Strong. Each scenario is presented in full color, supported by new counters, boards, and rules material.

• Four 8 x 22-inch geomorphic boards
• Two 16 x 22-inch double-wide geomorphic boards

The pack also contains articles covering guns, fires, and other topics. New rules cover Ground Attack Aircraft, Multiple Bomb Load Bombers, Multi-Material Buildings, new vehicles and ordnance notes, period aircraft, and new infantry units.

To play every scenario in Poland in Flames, players need a substantial collection of additional material. Required ASL boards include boards 3, 5, 6, 10, 13, 17, 18, 21, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 45, 46, 52, 57, 59, 62, 63, 64, 65, 1a, 2a, 3a, 5a, 6a, and 7a/b. The required modules are Beyond Valor, Armies of Oblivion, Into the Rubble, High Ground 2, Blood and Jungle, and Crucible of Steel.
