About this expansion

Mr. Jack: The Carriage is a 2006 expansion for the two-player deduction game Mr. Jack, with a play time of about 30 minutes.

This expansion introduces a wooden carriage, or coach, as an additional option during play. Instead of activating a character, you can choose to move the carriage.

The carriage’s effect is direct and tactical: it picks up a character, carries that suspect up to 8 spaces, and deposits the character at the other end of the journey. This gives the carriage a distinct role within the movement and deduction framework of the original game.

  • Designed for 2 players
  • Approximately 30 minutes of play
  • Includes a wooden carriage piece with a sticker and rules
  • Allows a character to be transported up to 8 spaces

Published in 2006, the expansion was included with Jeux sur un Plateau issue 31 and spielbox issue 4/07. It expands the original Mr. Jack, developed by Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc.

With its optional carriage movement, Mr. Jack: The Carriage adds a focused new way to reposition a character without activating that character. It is a compact expansion for players looking to extend the original two-player deduction game with a specialized transport option.
