Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island – Gamer Character adds one new survivor for 1–4 players, released in 2015. This character brings a different approach to island survival, relying on wiles and tricks instead of inventions to help the party succeed.

Like the other characters in Robinson Crusoe, the Gamer has both male and female sides. The survivor’s four available actions offer flexible ways to influence the group’s options, hunting risks, Adventure cards, and Mystery cards.

• Dummy Player: Discard 3(D) to gain a Brown or Grey Action pawn for the current turn.
• AC Bonus: Spend 2(D) to ignore one wound when hunting.
• Cheat: After resolving an Adventure card effect, spend 3(D) to avoid shuffling that card into the Event deck and discard it instead.
• Go Fish: Spend 3(D) to draw two Mystery cards, resolve only the first Treasure from the drawn cards, and discard the rest.

These abilities give the Gamer several ways to bend the usual flow of play. An additional Action pawn can support the group’s plans, while AC Bonus provides a way to reduce the consequences of hunting.

Cheat and Go Fish focus on card effects, letting the Gamer control what happens to an Adventure card or choose a Treasure from newly drawn Mystery cards. Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island – Gamer Character is a focused character option for players who enjoy unconventional solutions and carefully timed abilities.
