About this expansion

Carcassonne: Halb so Wild is a 2020 mini-expansion for 2–6 players, adding 24 triangular landscape tiles to the Carcassonne series. Each tile is half the size of a normal Carcassonne tile, offering a compact alternative for your tile-placement turns.

During setup, each player receives two triangular tiles. On their turns, players may place one of these tiles instead of drawing and placing a normal tile. This gives the expansion a straightforward way to add its distinctive pieces to a game of Carcassonne.

This release combines Halb so Wild I and Halb so Wild II in one set. The artwork has been updated to match the 2.0 and 3.0 versions of the base game, making the bundled expansion a consistent addition for players using those editions.

Originally, Halb so Wild I was available only through Spielbox. Hans im Glück now bundles both mini-expansions together for a single release. With its unusual triangular format and simple placement option, Carcassonne: Halb so Wild is a compact way to expand the Carcassonne experience.
