Fleet: Salmon License

About this expansion

Fleet: Salmon License is a 2014 addition for 1–6 players, with a listed play time of about 30 minutes. Part of the Fleet: Arctic Bounty Kickstarter campaign, it adds Salmon licenses and Salmon Boat Cards to the game.

During setup, add four Salmon licenses to the pool of Standard licenses and add 16 Salmon Boat Cards to the Boat Card supply. Salmon licenses are purchased and played from the License Deck in the same manner as other license cards.

Once owned, a Salmon license gives a player the ability to launch Salmon boats. It also provides a card draw at the beginning of the Fishing Phase, creating a choice between keeping the card in hand or using it with an eligible boat.

• With one Salmon license, draw one card during Fishing.
• With two Salmon licenses, draw two cards during Fishing.
• With three Salmon licenses, draw three cards during Fishing.

Drawn cards may be kept in hand or tucked under already-launched and captained boats you own. With two or more Salmon licenses, cards tucked this way must go under separate eligible boats.

A tucked Salmon Boat Card catches a Crate along with its boat during Fishing and has a capacity of four Crates. This gives Fleet: Salmon License a focused set of additional cards and license effects centered on Salmon boats, card draws, and crate collection.
