Dark Souls: The Board Game – Vordt of the Boreal Valley Boss Expansion is an expansion for 1–4 players, released in 2017, that adds a terrifying new mega boss to the Dark Souls: The Board Game experience.

As your party journeys through Lothric toward the Undead Settlement, safe passage is difficult to find. Vordt of the Boreal Valley stands sentinel over the gates leading from the Undead Settlement to the Castle of Lothric, now reduced to a savage and mindless beast by endless visions of bloodshed and carnage.

The expansion introduces Vordt of the Boreal Valley as a formidable new challenge. A gigantic mega boss tile, deadly boss behaviours, and unique boss treasures give this encounter its own distinctive identity. Can you slay the beast, or will your adventures through Lothric end at the gates?

Vordt’s arrival also brings larger encounters than ever before in Dark Souls: The Board Game. Four Level 4 Encounter Cards create tremendous battles and a new level of peril for you and your party, making this expansion a substantial addition for players seeking a more demanding confrontation.
