About this expansion

Wings of War: Crossfire Booster Pack is a 2010 expansion for 3 players with a playing time of 30 minutes, adding four two-seater aircraft to the WWI line.

At its center is the long-awaited Bristol Fighter, described as a revolutionary two-seater fighter. It is joined by three more traditional two-seaters representing different national aviation forces: the Austrian Phonix C.I, the German Rumpler C.IV, and the Italian SAML S.2.

This booster pack also broadens the visual range of its aircraft with post-WWI color schemes. The included designs extend from the wars in Eastern Europe to the Mexican revolution, offering settings and historical associations that reach beyond the First World War.

  • Bristol Fighter — a revolutionary British two-seater fighter
  • Phonix C.I — an Austrian two-seater
  • Rumpler C.IV — a German two-seater
  • SAML S.2 — an Italian two-seater

With its combination of aircraft from Austria, Germany, Italy, and the Bristol Fighter, Wings of War: Crossfire Booster Pack adds a focused selection of two-seater subjects to the WWI range. Its post-war color schemes further distinguish the pack, connecting the aircraft to conflicts and eras that followed World War I.

Designed for a 3-player game lasting around 30 minutes, this 2010 booster pack is a compact addition to the line. It stands out through its long-awaited Bristol Fighter, its trio of traditional two-seaters, and its color schemes linked to Eastern Europe and the Mexican revolution.
