About this expansion

BattleTech Technical Readout: 3055 is a BattleTech reference title for 2–8 players with an approximately 240-minute play time, released in 1992. It presents the machines of a pivotal period following the Clan Invasion and the battles that brought the conflict to an uneasy peace.

In 3049, Kerensky’s heirs launched a savage series of battles against the Inner Sphere. The invasion ended on Tukayyid, where the Com Guards halted the seemingly unstoppable Clan war machine. By 3055, both sides had an opportunity to reassess their opponents’ strengths and weaknesses.

The Inner Sphere responded with the first of a new breed of BattleMechs. These machines were designed specifically to counter the technologically advanced weapons used by the Clans, reflecting the changing military landscape after the invasion.

Inside, the BTR: 3055 provides illustrations, descriptions, and complete statistics for a wide range of BattleTech units, including:

  • Inner Sphere BattleMechs
  • Clan OmniMechs
  • Clan OmniFighters
  • Clan second-line BattleTechs

Whether you are examining the technological response of the Inner Sphere or comparing the forces fielded by the Clans, BattleTech Technical Readout: 3055 focuses on the designs and capabilities that defined this uneasy era. Its detailed presentation offers a concentrated look at the BattleTech machines that emerged as both sides adapted to one another.
