Shadows of Brimstone: Gastral Tyrant Enemy Pack

About this expansion

Shadows of Brimstone: Gastral Tyrant Enemy Pack is an enemy pack for 1–6 players, with a listed play time of 120 minutes and a 2019 release year. It introduces the massive Gastral Tyrant, a monstrous creature lurking within the cavernous intestines of the Belly of the Beast.

With its twisting, ribbed body and long, spiny arms, the Gastral Tyrant can dominate even the largest chambers within the Beast. Its imposing form makes it a terrifying presence for intruders exploring this grotesque environment.

The Gastral Tyrant hunts for prey to feed its nested eggs. It first uses a vicious venom to paralyze its targets, leaving them helpless against what follows.

Once its prey is subdued, the creature dissolves their bodies and regurgitates the resulting nutrient-rich sludge onto its hatching clusters of gelatinous eggs. This disturbing cycle of hunting and feeding defines the Gastral Tyrant’s place within the Belly of the Beast.

• A massive enemy with a twisting, ribbed body
• Long, spiny arms that help it dominate large chambers
• Vicious venom that paralyzes its targets
• Gelatinous egg clusters nourished by dissolved prey

For groups facing the Shadows of Brimstone: Gastral Tyrant Enemy Pack, the creature brings a distinctly grotesque threat to the Belly of the Beast. Its combination of paralysis, body dissolution, and egg-feeding imagery makes it an unforgettable addition to this cavernous setting.
