About this expansion

Einstein: His Amazing Life and Incomparable Science – The Genius Expansion enhances the 2–4 player experience with a 45-minute strategic challenge for more expert players.

Building on the accessible rules and quick playability of the base game, this expansion evolves Einstein’s world with new components, a new deck of cards, and entirely new rules. It adds the deeper strategic choices and player interaction that hobby gamers enjoy while retaining the foundation of the original experience.

Players continue to take on the role of Albert Einstein during one of four periods of his life. Each Einstein has a deck of inspiration cards based on real events from his life, providing simple theories to complete. With the Genius Expansion, inspirations and ideas played by both you and your opponents can now become part of your strategic opportunities.

The expansion introduces several ways to develop your plans and measure your achievements:

• Insight cards add new possibilities to the game.
• Genius scoring cards bring an additional scoring element.
• Prestige scoring is earned during the game across six categories: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Philosophy, Major Theories, and Collaboration.
• You can use inspirations and ideas played by both yourself and your opponents.

Designed to leverage the components of the base game alongside its new additions, this expansion offers an exciting step up in complexity and interaction. For players ready to move beyond the straightforward experience, The Genius Expansion brings Einstein’s life and incomparable science to a more demanding strategic level.
