Catan: Indiana & Ohio

About this expansion

Catan: Indiana & Ohio is a pre-printed map for 3–4 players, with an approximately 90-minute playing time. Released in 2009, this promotional map requires the base game, The Settlers of Catan, to play.

The map was given away at GenCon ’09 as a commemoration of GenCon and Origins being held in Indiana and Ohio, respectively. It is one of several convention-related maps, alongside Settlers of Hesse and North Rhine–Westphalia.

To settle this version of the map, use the game pieces and cards from The Settlers of Catan. The map provides the setting, while the required base-game components provide what you need to play this Catan map.

• Pre-printed Indiana and Ohio map
• Requires the base game, The Settlers of Catan
• For 3–4 players
• Approximately 90 minutes of play time
• Separate markers are needed for gold pieces and victory points

Gold pieces and victory points require separate or different markers. You can use chips from the Seafarers expansion, or use coins as an alternative.

With its regional theme and convention history, Catan: Indiana & Ohio offers a distinct pre-printed map for players who already have the base game and the additional markers needed for gold and victory points. It also serves as a commemorative release connected to two major gaming events held in the region.
