Ewolucja: Pochodzenie gatunków – Rozszerzenie is an expansion for 2–6 players with an approximate play time of 120 minutes, released in 2014. It expands the possibilities of the basic game, where players can create more than 50,000 different animals.

Animals depend on the environments in which they live. They must defend themselves against predators, find food, and fight to survive, while particular abilities can help them meet these challenges.

The expansion brings together three add-ons:

• Time to Fly
• Continents
• The mini add-on Darwin Day

With Time to Fly alone, the number of possible animal combinations rises to 50 million—more than the number of all species living on Earth. This creates a much broader range of surprising evolutionary possibilities.

Flying abilities and exceptional resistance may help some animals, while migrating abilities benefit others. The expansion invites you to consider which species will adapt best to life in different environments.
