Wings of Glory: World War 1 – Albatros D.Va

About this expansion

Wings of Glory: World War 1 – Albatros D.Va is a ready-to-play airplane pack for the 2-player air combat game system created by Andrea Angiolino and Pier Giorgio Paglia.

This pack brings the Albatros D.Va, a German fighter aircraft used by the Luftstreitkräfte, the Imperial German Air Service, to the Wings of Glory battlefield. The D.V was the final development of the Albatros D.I family and the last Albatros fighter to see operational service.

The improved D.Va version was widely used by the Luftstreitkräfte during World War I. It was also piloted by German aces such as Udet and Jacobs, remaining in service until it was replaced by the Fokker D.VII in the last months of the war.

Designed for compatibility with other World War 1 Wings of Glory products, the Albatros D.Va pack includes everything needed to use the airplane in the game system:

• A painted and assembled Albatros D.Va model
• A special base displaying the airplane’s gaming stats
• A variable-altitude flying stand
• A specific deck of maneuver cards

The maneuver deck and variable-altitude stand support the system’s air combat play, while the dedicated base provides the aircraft’s gaming statistics. As part of the 2012 Wings of Glory release line, this airplane pack offers a historically notable German fighter in a format that is ready to join other compatible game products.

Whether expanding an existing collection or adding the Albatros D.Va to a World War I air combat setup, Wings of Glory: World War 1 – Albatros D.Va combines a fully assembled model with the specific components required to play.
