D.E.I.: Divide et Impera – The Citadel is a 2022 expansion for 2–4 players, with games listed at 90 minutes. It introduces a new way to play D.E.I. through the dedicated The Citadel mode.

The Citadel is one of the powerful cores of the Purebreds, containing secrets that the population does not need to know. With freedom unable to wait, players are invited to challenge the Purebreds’ power and decide whether the hidden truths should finally be revealed.

This expansion adds new options to the base game Factions while also expanding the Purebreds faction. Its additions include:

• The Citadel mode for playing D.E.I. in a new format
• Four alternative Leaders for the base game Factions
• One Leader and one Drone for the Purebreds faction

The Leader and Drone for the Purebreds faction are included in the Kickstarter Exclusive Old London Expansion. Together, these additions give D.E.I. players another way to approach the game’s conflict and its central question: is now the time to reveal all the truths?

For groups of 2–4, The Citadel provides a focused expansion to the D.E.I. experience, combining a distinct new mode with alternative Leaders and additional Purebreds content.
