Hellenica: Story of Greece – Leaders and Legends is an expansion for 1–7 players that adds unique leaders to the game, with an approximately 180-minute play time.

These leaders allow players to modify the characteristics of their city-state. Each one provides a special bonus to the city-state that recruits them, creating new ways to shape your game through the figures you choose.

Every leader is represented by a dedicated deck of cards. These decks appear in a market that players review as they look for leaders they want to recruit. The market gives everyone access to the available leaders, but desired figures may attract competition.

Players must watch the other city-states closely, because more than one player may want the same leader. A leader will not serve two city-states, so recruitment can become a contest over the most useful abilities.

Leaders and Their Bonuses

The expansion features leaders with distinct effects that support different aspects of your city-state. Among the examples included are:

• Heracles, who aids in fighting Mythological Creatures.
• Socrates, who makes research more productive.
